For more than 38 years I have helped families and children discover an ease in life by removing obstacles that stand in the way of their happiness. My Occupational Therapy (OT) practice specializes in working with all ages in my Sacramento clinic and through telehealth. My therapy approach is family-focused with an emphasis upon collaboration on home programs and developing tools that are easily integrated into home routines. I work with kids and adults who have emotional and behavioral challenges, trauma needs, sensory processing disorders (SPD), attachment disorders and attention challenges.

My work has taken me to a variety of settings including 30 years of private clinical practice as well as family homes; foster care; schools; residential treatment care and teaching pediatrics in the OT Assistant Program at Sacramento City College.

I share a home in Sacramento with Mike, my husband of over 30 years. Our 2 adult daughters are central to our lives. I enjoy connecting with family and friends, walking along the American River, practicing and teaching Qigong, traveling and reading.
